Lorena Perry is a MexiCan (Mexican/Canadian) who arrived in this beautiful Country in 2002. A couple of years after her arrival, Lorena became a professional in the staffing industry and now has 15 years of experience managing full recruitment and sales cycles with a
unique, passionate, strategic, and consultative approach with both clients and candidates. Her focus is building lasting and meaningful relationships with people she meets.
Lorena considers herself to be a Career Coach who provides guidance on professional growth and hiring needs. Lorena has had the opportunity to “wear many hats” and developed a broad base of experience in sales, talent acquisition, and technology service delivery that allows her to contribute in different areas within the organization as required.
Lorena is a “people person” who is energetic and passionate helping individuals find meaningful employment by leveraging her professional work experience. To help the widest audience possible, Lorena has a strong presence on Social Media like LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, & Facebook. She has a YouTube Channel called “Latina Recruiter in Canada” where she shares short 4-5 minute videos with job search tips and career advice.
Lorena loves to give back to her community and the country that gave her so much and actively volunteers with the following organizations: Access Employment, Costi, Welcome Centre, JobSkills, JVS Toronto, Newcomers ICT careers, triOS, YWCA Toronto and Woodgreen. In addition, she participates in networking events and works with schools, colleges, and non-profits helping people. Because of her passion and commitment for helping professionals, other associations and groups invite Lorena to speak to their members as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Lorena is happily married to Ben Perry, mother of 2 crazy and awesome kids, Diego and Isabel, plus a four-legged addition “Cookie”. She works at PeopleToGo in a dual role as both a Sales Rep and Recruiter and holds a BA in Marketing and a master’s degree in Organizational Development.
